Yes, this weekend I will be finally meeting Arisu and Ma-chan in Hamburg, amongst others and I'm looking forward to that.
I have completed my skirt's drawer's and I noticed that the back of my skirt is for some weird reason much higher than the front of my skirt O_o" what the hell did I do wrong there?
Well, I should actually finish off and sew my top part of the gosuloli dress and think of making my small hat...but..er, yeah.
Another thing that I need to get done by tomorrow is my roleplay concept for the weekend. Yes, I actually even bought a Cthulhu Keeper's Handbook for 40? (instead of spending it on the AnimaniA, but they didn't have it there yet anyway). I thought to myself that if I treat it right, I can always re-sell it on Ebay, lol.
The story's starting to become interesting as I read more about what should be included and what characteristics are possible if somebody knows a rite or magic XYZ.
I so can't wait to tell the story! I hope my friends will be cooperative and help set the mood. The one thing I am worried the most is that people don't understand the concept of this being a horror story and kind of barge into the adventure, getting themselves killed too easily. One the one hand this may be fun (especially for me, harhar!), but on the other hand I will be getting my players killed before they solve the mystery and everybody is bored to death because they can't participate anymore. I think I should set that straight before we play.
I have also been doing research on "spooky, atmosphere music". I'm kinda looking for tunes that aren't really loud, but can give you the creeps, if the atmosphere is right. I remember my Cthulhu keeper bringing music recorded from the outer rings of the planet Saturn. You might think it's nothing special but I noticed that it helped a lot in creating tension: this weird whale-like crying and alien screeching gives you the shivers if you imagine you are alone in a dark, dark room and notice something tentacle-like is crawling it's way to you....
I tried finding it on LimeWire or eMule, but none of them really gave results. I think I just have to rely on all my OSTs on this one. T_T
On another topic: this inspires me to participate once again. After all, I actually made it to the top 20 with my Drama AMV that I had made for Lea (12th place means a lot to me, I know, such a loser T_T). This year, I hope to get to the top 10 and I will be doing most probably an Action AMV featuring Blood+ (I like the series a lot T^T) or another Drama AMV featuring Jigoku Shoujo. I prefer doing Blood+ because there will be a lot of material to use. Jigoku Shoujo on the other hand might be difficult because I would want to keep the mysterious mood that is implied in the series. I don't know enough songs that could do it (wait...what about "Sweet Dreams" by Marylin Manson....?
)
What do you guys think? Which one should I give my preference to? If I find time in the end (I have time till July or August), I might do the other one, but it will never turn out that good as the first AMV I do because there will be less time spent on it.
